Company Profile                              

This General Insurer required a project management system to support a busy and growing IT department of over 100 staff. The requirement was for a product that featured an intuitive planning tool that could efficiently support allocation of appropriate and available resources to project and operational work. Historically, project tools had not been successful in this company as they failed to collaborate:

·       Operational work

·       Project work

·       Time recording

·       Progress reporting

Typically, these functions were supported by disparate systems that did not communicate with each other and the stage had been reached where the IT department was in a constant state of re-planning. T

The implementation of PriorityOne included the conversion of 5,000 projects (many of which were completed) to enable the intelligence to be built-in from day 1. The immediate benefit delivered by the planning feature was to visualise the over and under-allocation of resources (current and historic). PriorityOne enabled the Development Manager to delegate much more responsibility for projects in the knowledge that the collaboration optimised the use of resource without risk of over allocation. Also, PriorityOne was readily available as a network application so that all key information could be viewed as required by authorised users.
